About the Genesis of We the People Project

The Discovery –  Late in 2025, a retired craftsman with an eye for detail and a love of history made a monumental discovery—American Founder James Wilson’s working copy of William Blackstone’s An Analysis of the Laws of England. For 238 years, cryptic marginalia inside of this book had veiled the fact that this volume was present at America’s 1787 Constitutional Convention.

Containing dynamic Convention-specific diagrams and notations, this book provides a previously unimaginable live and unedited account of the creation of the United States Constitution. This volume, however, is far more than documentation of the Convention proceedings. With Blackstone serving as James Wilson’s primary ideological opponent at the Convention, this volume played a central role in the revolutionary creation of a nation of We the People.
